You can also participate in on-site activities such as hula lessons. The adjacent Kona Country Club's 36-hole golf course is a great place to play a round of golf. You can even visit an active volcano on foot or in a helicopter. Plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options are located directly across from the resort, making it the perfect place to stay on your Big Island vacation. The resort has recently gone cashless.
